remus released a heavy sigh, eyes misting with yet to be unshed tears. he didn't like thinking about james, it hurt too much. yet everytime he looked at harry, that was who he saw. besides his eyes. he had his mother's eyes. laying a warm hand on lily's shoulder, he gave it a gentle squeeze. it was easy to see how talking about james affected her too, affected all of them. "i admit, quite a few times i hated him myself. though not really. james... he had a way of making a person feel wanted. i don't think, besides sirius, i'll ever find a friendship like that again."

"I promised that I would go with them to the store, just gonna pick up a few things for the party tonight. You ARE coming to the party tonight, right?" He asks Belly seriously. "Because I don't want to be there if you're not there."

"That has historically always worked for us Spellmans, so you have my support. Though I do get the sense that you may want to talk about it?"

There was a pause. Weighing her options of what to do, what to say. "But, now you know." In a fluid motion, she crossed her arms over her chest. "I'd ask who told you, but I assume they're dead in a ditch somewhere?" If they weren't, they were about to be.

❝ok sophie, i promised mom i would keep an eye on you. i am finishing up my bachelors here at witch u, so i won't be able to be on you 24/7 like mom would.❞ she smiled ❝but i know even though you're excited about this, you aren't a complete menace and wont make me regret letting you live with me off campus❞ she was actually happy sophie was here. she hadn't been home in a while, living at their grandmother's house since her passing. marnie liked it, she missed her grandmother so much, but she also missed her other family. it would be good to have sophie here, she said to herself.

Ricky let out an amused little noise, giving a shrug in response to Riley's words. "Ah, I don't think you're that bad, really. I know people love to say that, but back ho -" He cut himself off, still always slipping up. No matter how many years went by, but maybe that was because New York has never truly been his home. "Where my dad lives, I had a lot of female friends. My best friend since kindergarten was a girl, and she never really stressed me out. At least not any more than my guy friends." He gave a shake of his head. "It's all just bullshit stereotypes. You're cool, Riley. I promise."

"what is with you?" regina asks, eyes narrowing as she looks at the other girl. one hand has her head propped up as she lays across the bed. "you're acting weird lately, and not in a pms-ing kind of way ..." if regina was anyone else, she might actually sound a little concerned. but she's not, and so she sounds more judgmental than anything.
