3 siblings that look nothing the fuck alike, my stupid beloved
Can we bring back dash commentary?
Did your muse perk up at something I wrote?/posted? Are they angry? Judgemental? Laughing? I'd LOVE to hear their thoughts.
Like let me put any fears to rest, you are not:
Bothering/intruding in any way on a thread.
Unwelcome, ever.
Obligated to write more/less than you feel like. One line banters are always fun!
Dash commentary breathes so much life into an rpc, let's revive the practice.
Send “🌧” for our muses to be caught in a rain storm!
(If you cannot see the emoji send “Rain”)
"What other choice do you have? What choice do any of us have?" Lilia asked, her voice gentle and filled with understanding. It was difficult, it was painful, but if everyone just gave into grief, letting it stop them, then there'd be no one left to honour those memories. It was a hard lesson but an unavoidable one.
"Maybe that's the problem," Lilia suggested. "Thinking you put your life aside for all these changes when this is your life. Was something on hold when you were working with your brother? Did you pause dreams and travel plans while raising Sabrina? Or were you doing exactly what you wanted to do?" she challenged, aware even as she was speaking that she could hear the echo of her own maestra in her words. "You lived your life with them. You're living it now too. And if you think Ambrose and Hilda don't need you...." Lilia sighed with a shake of her head. "Then you really are blinded by grief."
The idea that any of them, the coven, Hilda, Ambrose, could possibly need her in any fashion after she had so terribly failed Sabrina was a difficult pill, one Zelda wasn't quite prepared to take. She knew Lilia was right, she often was, but that knowledge wasn't going to do her any good just yet, not when she felt so hollow.
"Sabrina was my life," Zelda said with a wet, pitiful laugh. "Whatever I was doing, whoever I was before I became her guardian doesn't matter. Even now, even being the High Priestess it.." She stopped, swallowing a sob, and eventually shook her head. "What would you have me do? What sort of a leader am I if I can't keep them all safe?"

i'm okay with:
starting over - are you a little overwhelmed with where our thread is going? let me know, and i'd be happy to start a new one with you!
pausing - if you're feeling one thread more than another we have going on, that's perfectly fine! you're welcome to let me know if you'd like, but it's not a necessity.
multiples - if we have a ship that you love and you have many ideas for them, always feel welcome to throw them at me no matter what! while it may affect my reply speed due to having more, it doesn't affect my interest at all!
regrouping - maybe we initially had an idea that didn't pan out but you don't know how to say it? just shoot me a message and let me know you'd like to plot further/something else.
anything else - have we not talked and you want to? shoot me a message! send in a meme if you don't know where to start! ask for my discord! i may not initiate too often myself, but i love being able to love our threads together!
the temptation to just reblog memes instead of working on my drafts is strong

Y'all look what my wife made for me..
Many people now prefer to write almost exclusively on Discord, and there are many reasons for this. However, we should not forget that a lively dashboard creates new contacts, stories, and opportunities ♥
hi, hello, listen: personal blogs, pretty please do not reblog my threads with other rp blogs here. you can reblog hc posts and images but not active interactions I'm having with other writers. I feel like I have this in my rules already, but this is a gentle reminder:)
Hilda held back a giggle as her sister clearly tried to ignore her question. Oh but she should know better, there was no way she would let go so easily. Not when she had been watching these two for such a long time now. "It was, of course, yes. Everyone had a good time."
She then took a seat next to Zelda, looking at her with curious eyes. "She told me she would come here and visit you. She seemed determined. And it seems like you didn't turn her down. Did you, sister dear? Tell me about it!"
Zelda, for her part, was doing her best to avoid her sister's eyes the moment she realized Hilda wasn't going to allow her to side-step the discussion. She took her time sipping her morning coffee and lighting a cigarette until she finally had to roll her eyes and address Hilda.
"Tell you about what exactly? Hm? How I found her quite inebriated on our doorstep," she said with a pointed look. "Really it was quite irresponsible of you to let her leave the party in her state. But no, if you must know, I didn't turn her away. As you said, she.." Zelda stopped and sighed, a small blush forming as she remembered how Maerose had been, how affectionate and close. "She wanted to share my company."
"What else can I do to help?" Comes out just below a whisper. She could tell Zelda needed the quiet, and the rest which is why she had guided her to lay her head in her lap. A flick of her wrists and the lights dimmed even more, and her fingers began to run through her hairs.
While she might've initially tensed at the touch, Zelda soon found herself relaxing into it as she pondered the question. Truly she didn't have much of an answer beyond what the first witch was already doing for her; she just didn't much enjoy disappointing Lilith. "I think I've attempted every spell, potion, or home remedy in the book over the years. Nothing ever fully gets the job done."

@alyafae asked: "I see Maerose spent the night… Does that mean you finally stopped dancing around those feelings of yours?" / hilda most definitely saw a hungover mae leaving the house early in the morning
Zelda's lips parted in surprise, for the question, is implications, and for the sheer fact that she hadn't noticed that Hilda had returned home. But she could hardly be blamed for that; for one, her sister was a quiet woman, and two.. well her focus had been rather fixated.
"Sister," she finally greeted after a moment, "I see you found your way home. I suspect you had a successful event then?" Maerose had, of course, told her as much, but she'd rather not jump straight into the subject her sister so clearly wished for.
Larissa felt simultaneously timid and brave, and not a little childish. Even as she was driving over, manufacturing her flimsy excuse, she hadn't been able to justify the whim that brought her to Zelda; it really was something a little girl would do, rushing out into the snow and down the block to visit her best friend. But Zelda didn't seem to be sneering, even as she teased. Her voice, her smile, the sparkle in her eyes, were all perfectly warm. That warmth did something to the nervous cold that had begun to gather in Larissa's hands and chest.
"I didn't..." She cleared her throat delicately. "This was unexpected. I hadn't..." Planned on ever telling you was how that sentence would go, if she dared finish it. "Obviously," Larissa said, and looked somewhere over to the side instead of up at Zelda's lovely, flushed face, "I have always... Er. Coming back to the Academy raised certain... Um." It was really not the time for confessions of crushes past, but an anxious drive, a heavily-poured drink, and, of course, the sensation of Zelda Spellman in one's lap could easily combine to make one... Unwise.
"In any case. Here we are. I'm certainly, um." Damn it. "I'm not unhappy with the direction this evening's taken. Are you?" Could she be more... Unsexy? Why was she speaking like a human resources mediator? How red was she just now? Could Zelda see it? She chanced a look up at her face.
Zelda bit down a little harder on her own lip while she watched Larissa seemingly struggle to articulate a response, trying not to find amusement in it. It was endearing really, but part of her was quite curious to know what it was she was really trying to say to her.
She always what? What about coming back to the Academy? The liquor she had consumed made it increasingly difficult for her to read between the lines, and Zelda found it more than a little frustrating, but then Larissa was expecting her to respond and she suddenly couldn't help the light chuckle that escaped.
"Are you asking me if I'm unhappy that I dragged you in here and made quick work of getting you between my legs," she asked before laughing again with an incredulous shake of her head. "No, I'm hardly unhappy. Honestly, I was worried you were straight until you hooked your arm around me. While you have a lovely voice, you ought let your hands do the talking more often. Of course I say that now knowing what that mouth of yours can do when put to better use."
