Getting drunk was something that rarely happened for Maerose. She could handle a lot but sometimes, on a rare occasion, it still got the best of her. Perhaps it had been the heat that made it harder for her. Or perhaps… someone had given her something else.

Zelda stood there, momentarily stunned by the sudden proximity, but once her senses had managed to push past the initial shock the liquor's scent could be picked up. Yet the comment on her own scent had a flush crawling over her skin, her heart skipping a beat.
"Must be the bath oils," she replied, her own hands coming up to fidget with the ties to her robe, before clearing her throat a bit. "Sabrina suggested I have a self-care night, as she put it, since they were all out. But I welcome your company," she added as she stepped aside to gesture for Maerose to enter the house.
"Have you been doing that a bit yourself? You seem rather.. light."
