There's a warmth in his chest he hasn't felt in so long, a joy radiating that feels powerful enough it could light up the whole town. Has him wanting to grin from ear to ear. It's with that feeling in mind, so caught up in the moment, that the words tumble out of his mouth before he can stop them. "I love you."
