I should be going to bed, but I'm going down the rabbit hole of doing a bit of fixing on my portrayal. In particular all of her desires of needing a man and being in a relationship.

Instead of being a strong, independent woman with friends who are not just girls, but also guys. Because let's face it, you don't need the validation of being in a relationship.

I get that her whole spill is wanting to be love, a family. Etc. and I know Nik calls her out on her behavior several times (including but not limiting to commenting about how if they were to turn every guy she fell in love with into a vampire, there'd be no food).

I do eventually think she will take the cure, she will become human? But she 100% does not need a man to feel valid.

So happy ending where Bex is single, doesn't need to be tied down in a relationship (though, one is certainly welcome). Also, she is essentially a surrogate guardian to Hope. But I do think when the timing is *right*, She'll probably have a couple of children of her own.

Maybe when I'm a bit more coherent, I'll elaborate more on this. So enjoy my jumbled thoughts on the matter!

Rebekah only having a driver's license because it brings her that much closer to being a human.

But I wouldn't put it past her to compel the person who's doing the drivers test to see whether or not if you get the actual licenses? If they try to fail her.

Maybe Hope had the wrong tip as she thought to herself while she waited for her coffee. She waited at the end of the counter trying not to tap her foot as her arms folded over her stomach and held her elbows. Hope felt like a fish out of water right now and the music here didn't help. There was always some song twanging in her ear. Even in this small coffee shop there was some slow guitar going over the speakers softly. She didn't pay attention to the lyrics, but knew by the tone it had to be something about a girl leaving or a man losing himself to discover it again. If they just made better music maybe she could get behind it. But it was all the same.

The barista called out for her coffee order and she thanked her before she snatched it up and went to sit down. Gods someone turn this music off, she thought to herself. Sure, she could probably do a little spell and wrap herself in silent bliss. That would just lead to them trying to fix the issue and scrambling to fix the speakers and that was just a chaos she didn't want right now.

Especially when she went to take a sip from her straw and saw the very person she came here to find. Her eyes lit up in slight surprise and warmth as Rebekah moved toward her and sat down.

A smile beemed across her face only her Aunt could bring out of her. A feeling of continuing where they left off sank warmly in her chest as she chuckled. "I'm trying to," Hope admitted, "Though the music is very tempting to switch off."

Hope wanted to reach out. To get up and hug her, there would be time for that soon. For now she sipped her coffee again and offered Rebekah a sip. "Would you like some?" She offered. "I can always get you your own coffee though if you want."

She let loose a huff of air that could have been a laugh, the blonde couldn't agree more. "Trust me, I can't tell you the amount of times I've thought about just ripping every single speaker out of this town and setting them on fire." Perhaps she shouldn't be having this conversation with her niece, but she was a Mikaelson. If she had to hear this hillbilly ruckus any longer, she may be inclined to ask Hope to indulge her.

She paused, inclining her head at the offer. Reaching for the cup and taking a sip, before returning it to her niece. "That's sweet darlin', but absolutely unnecessary. Watch and learn." She twisted her body around to look at the barista. "You there," There was a hint of command to her tone but her voice was sweet like honey. "Get me a Vanilla Latte, will ya?" She flashed a smile, dimples and all. The barista nodded with a roll of the eyes and got to work on the order.

Turning around back towards her niece, she crossed her arms over her chest. "So, tell me, love. What's going on?" The barista showed up with her drink, setting it down on the table in front of her. "Thank you." Rebekah said towards the girl who delivered her drink, eyes still resting on Hope.

"What, did you really think I didn't notice that you've been chasing me all over the states?" She'd been informed by Freya weeks ago that Hope's been looking for her. Rebekah took a quick sip of her coffee before setting it back down on the table.

"So, out with it."
