Ok I wanna talk about the other old object show nobody talks about that I have so much nostalgia for and love. Object Illusion
Ok so people DO talk about it but only how bad the early episodes and such are. Sad! I actually watch the show yknow. Well, time to say random things about it!
- first of all I hate to start with something negative but many old object shows have flaws and I cannot stand how much fatphobia there is in Object Illusion 😭 like I love the show but chillax guys. Who cares how big Gumball is I love her
- Also there was supposed to be a reboot or something but I haven’t heard any updates on it in years, I will say I am not interested, like if it comes out I’ll check it, but like, only two of the old contestants will be there? Might as well make a new object show! If you’re replacing the entire cast it’s not really a reboot, unless the show has a totally unique formula that will stay in the reboot, which Object Illusion doesn’t. Like just say you’re making a new show
- NOW TO ACTUALLY SAYING HOW MUCH I LOVE IT!!! Romance in object shows is very underused, and Object Illusion has a big focus on it. Sure, it’s kind of childish cringey straight af romance, but it’s something different from your typical object show, and it was finally starting to get interesting!!! I miss it man……
- Police Hat was totally gay for Oreo. Like… bro REALLY didn’t want Oreo to focus on girls… was always around Oreo and even stalked him… got unreasonably mad at Pudding Cup for breaking Oreo’s heart… idk there was something gay about Police Hat
- also I get they probably wanted to do Pudding Cup x Oreo but in my ideal world they would become besties instead. Pudding Cup deserved better treatment also
- the Fireaxe Sandwich and Lemon alliance was my FAVORITE I loved them so much. Absolute worst trio they all voted each other the first chance they got. I’m so sad that they did that tho
- also am I misremembering or was the plot twist that Lemon was acting weird cuz he was on some sort of medication?????????? What was that about 😭 I love Lemon tho straight up lie to people man you got this
