French Sosa is a macho insecure gay boy who is confused about a lot of things but still does what he thinks is best to help his family and found family and that’s why I love him

I have questions and realizations. Also, I need people to talk about this show with, so chime in! Spoilers, obviously.

Who is OA’s brother?? Is it implied that it’s Karim, or is it supposed to be Riz Ahmed? Are they the same?

What’s with the dove coming through the window at the end which causes “Brit”’s cable to snap?

How can the traveler woman leave the dimension but then re-appear in the same dimension (Leaves Hap, shows up at Syzygy) Does this mean that when you travel, your body doesn’t necessarily die? 

Let’s be honest, what are the chances Jesse jumped? because I really don’t want to lose Jesse.....

Side note....his death scene is all the more tragic in light of recent news where two Parkland survivors committed suicide because they couldn’t handle the trauma.

I JUST REALIZED SOMETHING. When Rachel says “Only safe for BBA to go”, BBA assumed it was because you die and everyone else was too young. BUT. When OA showed the group the sketches she made of BBA and the boys, Rachel touched Steven’s face, then became agitated enough to try and explain Hap’s experiment. She’s seen Hap’s “garden” where Steve, Jesse and French are, and maybe she also knows about Michelle. Literally, it’s only safe for BBA because Rachel knows all the other boys’ bodies are dead/comatose. 

Who made the movement robots? The traveler woman made it seem like there were “other” ways of traveling, but it sure seems like the movements are still required.

Who IS this traveler woman? She says she’s a “creature of balance”. What if she’s not human. What if she’s some version of Khatun, maybe....?

Did Zendaya ever go back to that house?

Can we talk about how beautiful this show is, visually speaking? The recurring images of doors, of mirrored reflections, of people/places/movements being multiplied (or, echoed). Brilliant and subtle and I can only imagine a re-watch will be more obvious.

Sooooo are we ever going to get an explanation for the octopus? Was that a standard octopus, or was it something magical/from a dream? Could Nina communicate with it because she’s a medium?

How could Michelle hear Karim calling to her from the window, yet when she looked up he wasn’t there?

There is a CRIMINAL LACK of BBA and the Boys in part 2.Two and half episodes, and that’s it??? I care almost exclusively about BBA and the Boys and this was not enough. 

Oriented aroace (oa2 for short) means you don’t feel romantic or sexual attraction, but you do feel a third type of attraction that’s important to your identity. For me, that’s alterous attraction, which is defined as “attraction that’s not completely romantic or platonic.”

But that makes it hard to identify as aro. Because part of alterous attraction can be feelings of romance. But those feelings of romance aren’t really complete - they’re inseperable from the platonic aspect. But they’re still there.

So it makes me a little uncomfortable to ID as aro. If I develop strong feelings for someone, I can’t tell if I have alterous and romantic feelings for someone, or if it’s just very strong alterous feelings. (If that makes sense?)

So I use the oriented aroace label because I know that it’s what I am, deep down. But because of the nature of alterous feelings, I can’t relate to being aro, at least not completely or as much as I can relate to being ace.
