honestly me losing a lot of interest in (romantic) fan fictions once the 2 main characters got together was probably a sign that i was aspec,
like id b like “omg they [the two main characters] are finally together! i wonder where the story is gonna go next!” and then the story would be all “and then they started making out they put their hands under their shirts and it was rly hot and emotional hmmm yea” and id immediately just skip ahead, very uninterested
like i’d honestly just find the way the 2 people interacted together more interesting and authentic than the romantic/sexual aspects? like show me how these two support each other, and how their personalities compliment each other perfectly and balance out, and how they want to spend their lives together because they’d be lost without each other.
