Start your day with a nutritious and delicious breakfast smoothie that's perfect for both carnivores and vegans. This protein-packed smoothie combines the goodness of spinach, berries, yogurt or dairy-free alternative, and your choice of protein powder to keep you fueled and satisfied throughout the morning.
Ingredients: 1 cup spinach. 1/2 cup frozen berries e.g., blueberries, strawberries. 1/2 ripe banana. 1/2 cup Greek yogurt or dairy-free yogurt for vegans. 1/2 cup cottage cheese or silken tofu for vegans. 1 scoop of your favorite protein powder. 1 tablespoon almond butter or peanut butter. 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or any plant-based milk. 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup for vegans. A pinch of cinnamon. Ice cubes optional.
Instructions: Put everything into a blender. Mix until it's creamy and smooth. If the smoothie is too thick, you can add more almond milk until it's the right consistency for you. Pour into a glass and drink right away. To make it taste even better, you can add more berries, honey or maple syrup, or cinnamon on top.
