One of the reasons they took her out of the chair was because she was apparently 'defined by her disability'. That's garbage, obviously, but whatever, DC logic. 

So now we have a Barbara who's defined by having been in the chair instead- a Barbara who's default character arc from now on will be 'got shot by the Joker'. 

I'm all for stories about recovery and survival, but Barbara's character as Oracle had done that and more. Sure the Killing Joke was referenced but it wasn't the only thing about her, it had happened, she had changed, and her life moved on.
