Just thinking about how despite that Miss Holloway has to change identities so often Duke still falls in love with each and every one in every universe <3
why does the new logo look like blinky
Hatchetfield introduced entities so beyond comprehension that we can only understand them enough to fear. Endless beings of alien form and cruel intention, that incite world wars with glee and torment select people with a sick favoritism. The world is a game of little consequence, treated with sadistic humor. Entities both ageless and foul so far beyond the human mind that the mere presence of them twists and corrupts the very core of your being.
And you know who the most terrifying characters to me are?
A dude in a full denim suit and some jackass who calls himself Boy Jerry. Incredible
(and also a bird that smokes weed)
Jon paying a “rugged man” in Perky’s Buds is so fucking funny

Y'know Ezekiel?
This weed addicted bird played by Joey Richter? Yeah him.
So we all know that the nighthawks have biblical names cuz why not. But like what's the common nickname for ppl named Ezekiel? Zeke.
Y'know who else is named Zeke?
This guy! It's spelt differently but like for the sake of this shitpost we'll ignore that. The subtitle spellings are wrong occasionally too, so who knows
There's no deep meaning to this post I just think it'd be funny if the Hatchetfield High mascot smoked weed. Grace Chasity would certainly hate the football team if she found out though.
Thinking about Holloweane and Rowaysa, and how neither couple can fully ever be happy together because of the situations they're trapped in.
Miss Holloway can never fully open up to Duke because of the deal she made. He can never truly know anything about her, and she must always move on to a new identity and start over
But then you have Waysa and Rowena, who are trapped by their own mistakes. They were never able to get to know each other until it was too late, too much had happened, and how are they supposed to trust each other? They can learn to trust each other enough to fight alongside each other but to be together? It's too late.
Both relationships are practically doomed by the narrative. But they still love each other anyway, even when they know they will have to say goodbye. And honestly, I think thats what makes them such good ships. They're both tragic and unavoidable, and every time you watch/read, you just hope this time can turn out differently, and you're left with the hope that one day the writers will let it be different.
Perky’s Buds Is Good, Actually
It's fine to just not like the episode (it definitely has the grossest moments of the season in it), but I am wicked confused by some of the discourse over this episode because, to me, Perky's Buds makes some excellent commentary on working conditions in late stage Capitalism.
The nighthawks do a hostile takeover of Emma's farm and they run that place like a goddamn Amazon warehouse. Emma and Ziggs are expected to work all day without any breaks - not even to eat or use the bathroom. They're expected to work tirelessly in inhumane conditions just for the nighthawks to reap all of the benefits.
I'm just saying, if you think of Ezekiel as Jeff Bezos, the episode hits different.
