Still haven't watched season 2 of The Witcher. I HAVE moved out of my parent's house into a house with my fiance who I am marrying in two days (October 31st)! I have two dogs and a wonderful home and a soon to be husband that I adore. Lots of life changes happened to me in the past year and it's been a lot. I've been working on art a lot - maybe looking into a tattoo apprenticeship? I currently am the manager of a used bookstore. My life is very different than it was a year ago and I couldn't be more grateful. I'm here, I'm alive. I've just been dormant because I felt bad not watching season 2. I still may or may not watch it and I may not produce a lot of content for a while, but I HAVE been creating IRL. Lots of art practice.

Despite how horrifying most of these are, I tried to make them look cute. These are a bunch of wormy bois. Worm parasites, planaria and hammerhead flatworms. I find these worms just so fascinating. The only one remotely accurate is the planaria in the center, yeah they actually have tiny dot eyes and it’s adorable despite their predatory nature.
I’m Still Alive
I’m beyond ready for 2018 to be over with; I’ve spent roughly a third of it fighting four (count ‘em: 4) bouts of pneumonia landing me in the hospital. I don’t normally push things like this, but I urge everyone to get vaccinated for it. This shit is no joke.
As it’d be expected, a lot of the RL minutiae has fallen by the wayside every time, so I’m catching up every time I get home. A lot of fic I wanted finish, posts I wanted to make to the website, other goals I wanted to meet, and it didn’t get done this year ‘cause of the fuckin’ sickness. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone, and I’m having a rough time shaking the mental after-effects (read: depressive episodes) Makes it very tough to get motivated, but I gradually am/will again.

In a nutshell, my voice box can slam almost totally shut when it’s not supposed to, making it really hard to inhale. Scary, and I essentially have to retrain my breathing to stop it from happening. The specialist doctor I saw is pretty sure it’s tied to severe generalized anxiety disorder that I already have the joy of dealing with every day. Why does this not surprise me?
Anyway, I’m rambling but I’m never giving up. I’ll be around, writing, blogging, RP, etc. as I can gather the muse for it. Already ready for a much better and healthier 2019.
