note-a-bear a reblogué votre billet :Red velvet cake was one of the biggest...
Oh! :3 Okay I just re-read it and was like āMan, if I didnāt know that was me Iād kinda be all what a douche.ā Which always prompts me to check Ā in with folks :D
Iāll see if I can find any good, actual red velvet recipes (which of course is tricky because a lot of the ārealā recipes are tightly kept). Youāll find tons that are closer to that āred devilā sort that is more reliant on the food dye, but itās a pain to find the more traditional kinds.
Haha, no, not at all. It was a great reblog.
Would you really?! Wow, thank you so much! If you find any, I'll be thrilled!
I think I could probably find red velvet cake somewhere around here, but the chances of finding the real thing are slim. I don't think I've ever seen any sort of red velvet, dyed or not, IRL? Not really A Thing in Brazil.
If you are into that kind of things, I could give you a legitimate Brazilian recipe! Our sweets are kind of completely awesome. (Mostly due to Portuguese influence, the fact our economy once rested single-handedly on sugar-cane, and the work of black women, who were the ones doing the really good cooking)
(Although, my knowledge of these things is totally informal, so don't trust my word 100% xP)
