I would like for Magnus and Alec to have more screentime, for their scenes together and for their individual stories, but I don't think they need to become the main characters in order for this to happen. They are my faves but I don't really have any promblems with Clary being the main
yeah that’s basically how i feel. definitely more screentime would be great and 100% i’m behind that, but i like how the show is structured right now, and i don’t think a drastic re-structuring would do it many favours at this point. maybe making it more of an ensemble-based thing at the very furthest would be good. by that, i mean a show like “friends” where there is no main character, there’s just 6 equal mains. in SH, there’s a hierarchy - a very slight one, but there nonetheless. dismantling that might work well for the show, but any further than that and i think it would throw it off a bit. but that’s just me.
