It is so fucking infuriating, I would be so fucking delighted to find canon allo-ace or allo-aro characters, but so fucking many allo-aces and allo-aros look upon aroace and non-SAM aro and ace characters and people with nothing but disgust, and cannot fucking wait to try and erase us at every chance they get, whether that's by erasing whichever aspec aspect of the AANSAA character they think is worthy of disdain, or *literally proudly admitting* that they want to bully AANSAA people out of the tags that literally belong to *the entire asexual and aromantic communities*.
They don't care about the experiences we share, they are just ashamed and disgusted by the ones we don't. They don't want solidarity with us, they are *ashamed* to be associated with us.
So. Where are the other aspec people that I can follow who actually give a shit about the entire aro and ace communities and not just the ones who share their exact identity?
I would like to see some fucking solidarity, cuz every time I go through the tags I end up having to block people who think that aroaces and non-SAM aces and aros are the scum of the earth, and blaming us for allos-squared hating them.
I am in fact old enough to remember during the aspec harassment campaign just how many "sufficiently same-sex attracted" allo- aros and aces were siding with allos-squared to harass those of us deemed "cishets wanting to be special". Including aspecs who were openly trans.
I also remember all of the people that would have been accepted by these exclusionists who actually stood up for the rest of us.
So where are you now?
