Dear Night Valestuck readers! @aerofbreath has just started making a podfic of my Welcome to Night Vale/Homestuck crossover fic, The Longest Surviving Intern at Night Vale Community Radio. I love Nightvalestuck (WTNV and Homestuck AU), and let’s be honest here, the town of Nightvale would /absolutely/ survive the shenanigans that go on on the Sburb/Sgrub/whatever you call the game. In the way of God Tiers, I feel like Carlos would be a Mage of Space. He just gives off that kind of vibe to me. He could qualify as a few other classes in the Space aspect, but I’m the kind of person who holds vvv stubbornly to their headcannons. Anyways, happy Friday everyone!

-Rose Lalonde as Cecil Palmer. The all-knowing Seer with a velvety voice who informs her hometown in her typical verbose fashion. And speaking of fashion... -Kanaya Maryam as Carlos the Scientist. She's a researcher and a surgeon (as well as a sewing hobbyist) who came to Night Vale in order to investigate several incidents involving multiple limbs growing out of people. -Nanna Egbert as Old Woman Josie. She baked cookies for the angels who of course don't really exist, and now they're helping her prank everyone. -Eridan Ampora as Steve Carlsberg. He's deeply annoyed by Kanaya's vision of science ("you ain't a real scientist, you're just a doctor!") and Rose's nonchalance about strange occurrences. -Terezi Pyrope as Hiram McDaniels. She's literally a five-headed dragon, who instead of burning down everything decided to run for mayor to impose JUSTICE. What's not awesome about that? -Roxy Lalonde as The Faceless Old Woman Who Secretly Lives In Your Home. She is The Faceless Young Woman Who Secretly Lives In Your Home, Hacks Your Computers To Send Pictures Of Cats To Everyone And Steals Your Drinks. Nobody knows how she drinks without a mouth, or hacks your computers without eyes. She ran for mayor to piss Terezi off in a friendly manner. -Meenah Peixes as Marcus Vanston. She is the richest person in town, and spends most of her fortune in bling and golden statues of herself. She ran for mayor because it would be fuckin' awesome and because she wanted her Aranea dearest to "shut the shell up", but got turned into an angelfish. (Not really. Just an angel, but she's fond of puns which get through City Council's censorship. Heh. CensorSHIP.) Aranea Serket as Pamela Winschell. She just looooooooves calling press conferences to drone on about different topics of interest, even though the Woman On The Radio already does that. Diamonds Droog and Clubs Deuce as The Man Who Is Not Tall and The Man Who Is Not Short.

It is super awesome that kkaylakayleb is doing this, because now the fic can be closer to the radio broadcast form in which it was written. The project has been in the works for a while, but we are announcing it now because the first release looks to be coming up somewhat soonish. So keep an ear to the ground, readers (and future listeners). We'll be posting the first release all over the place once it's finished.
