About six years ago I met this irritating human. Now five years later she's proven to be the person who knows me the best and the person who has driven me to be a better person. Three years ago I probably would have strangled her because she was so annoying 😧( I was in a terrible state then too) but people change when pushed in the right direction. Now, she made her decision. This is the future she wants and she stuck to it through the hardships and complications of the first steps. There's plenty more to go but at this stage I'm proud of her no matter what because she's matured and sobered up. Moral of the day: Anyone can change for better or worse and it's up to you to make that decision to be a better person. Be kind. Be aware. Think for yourself. When you’re dying to play the piano 🎹 and its 10:55 PM and you simultaneously are dying not to wake up the kid 🧒 or the other kid 🧒 or the neighbor upstairs so you sit outside on your wet steps and the rain 🌧 drizzles down on you but you don’t notice because you already got wet a few hours ago when you ran from the grocery to the car 🚘 and you’re still not completely dry but who wants more laundry 🧺 so you figure you’ll stick it out till tomorrow and you’re forgetting that you really are dying to play the piano 🎹 but you sit and sit and stare at the house 💡 lights across the street and then look up to the sky 🌌 and its pretty. Then you figure you’ll have to go inside and just play the ukulele quietly behind closed doors but you know it won’t be satisfying like the piano 🎹 because nothing NOTHING is as satisfying as playing the piano so if YOU reading this don’t play the piano you wouldn’t understand but if you do then you’re feeling my PAIN right now and you wanna say “just PLAY the F’N piano and who cares wake everyone the F**K UP!!!!!!! Just play the goddamn piano 🎹 already. And shut up about it.
