Doing some simple tarot reading in the garden - on our Tiger Demon statue head. lol. It was after raining. At some nights, we put incenses and myrrh inside the Tiger Demon mouth. The black jug there is to put offerings also herbs for the demon. The plant there, they’re betel. Idk if betel is the right word, at least it’s what i got from google translate......hahaha.......here, we call it “ Sirih.” Since old time, “ Sirih “ have been used as traditional antiseptic and many more. It’s one of important herbs here. 

2nd pic is from google ( not my pic ) just to show a set for “ Nyirih “ or ‘ Nginang.” It’s betel, areca nut, white lime. And the brass tool is to cut those herbs before use. 

I put a youtube link to show about “ Nyirih ‘ or “Nginang. “ This activity is almost gone, only some grandmas still do it lately. Actually, “Nyirih” or “Nginang” is a very good way to avoid go to dentist forever. Too bad young people nowadays think as this as embarrassing and they choose modern things like toothpaste etc.
