Just watched the developer direct for Xbox, how are we all feeling what do we think about the new fable,
I’m more excited than worried now, there’s something’s they didn’t talk about that I’m hoping are in game.
They said new beginning, so would that be like an alternate reality of Albion, so previous games continuity doesn’t apply?
The did say Fairfax castle and the hero’s guild I guess it still could be between fable one and two depending on how old Lucien’s family is.
I had two bingo cards up made by other fans while I was watching and already am only one away from a bingo. XD

From this it does seem like it’s an alternate time line which is a small disappointment. But nothing I’m going to ditch the game over, also the morality system, they’re not going for clear cut evil and good and that mortality system doesn’t seem like it’s going to be there. That it’s based on what other witness which is good, They said there isn’t “objectively evil and good actions” and then used the example of stealing, kicking chickens and such I do think if you kill a random person for no reason that is objectively evil and should make you more “evil”
So idk if they’d be able to do character morphing with this new morality system which is a concern.
What I’m excited about! They do have the childhood phase back, thank goodness it’s important, it makes you feel like a part of the world with a history in it.
The NPCs seem like they’re going to be more unique and not copy pasted!
Fable just got a first-ever in-depth breakdown at Developer_Direct - and we have even more detail for you, with answers to all the big quest
okay in wake of the new fable trailer and people getting butt hurt about the fable girl looking “ugly” come here come here lemme tell you something about all of us artists drawing our sparrows and our heroes,, ready? THEY ARE ALL LIKE THAT!!!!!!! they all have scars, and pox marks, and uneven teeth, and bruises, abd imperfections because it’s albion in ye old times and modern beauty doesn’t fit in that period. idk why people thought she’d look like a tiktok influencer but yeah. i love her, she’s cute, and you can die mad that she doesn’t have perfect skin, perfect teeth and big boobs. seriously
Alright Fable fandom.
What the fuck is going on. What theories we got about the new trailer. GO
I'm at work so I can't scream about it right now and it kills me.
EVERYONE EVERYONE, A NEW FABLE IS COMING TO THE NEXT GEN XBOX. ITS BEEN CONFIRMED

New Fable Details that I’d Like to See/Think Would Add A lot
So since the Dev Direct and learning that character morphing is likely not going to be a thing at all, my excitement dampened for a while, thankfully I thought quietly about all the other parts of the game, played fable 2 and I’m now willing to look past it still not happy, but the rest of the game looks amazing. I may or may not be working on a long ass post about everything I saw in the dev direct, good and bad, that’s sitting in my drafts
1. Time passing and things changing with time. So in fable 2 time passes in two chunks of 10 years with the world changing in result of that, I’m figuring that this if going to happen at least once since there’s a childhood phase confirmed (🙏😩 thank goodness) but I think after that it could be nice if things over time change, even if it’s not real time like watching a tree grow*, then at least if you leave an area and come back it progresses a bit. I think with the giant Dave, if you kill him it would be sick if his body started to rot and break down until eventually turning into a skeleton, or you might I find returning to a town a sign was changed, som boxes are stacked up where they weren’t before, etc. I also think if you aged a bit over time that would be cool too. This might be a biiiit much, but if your kids grew up completely? I sure hope they still start out as baby.
* (I don’t know the full context about the discussion of planting an acorn and watching it grow in real time feel free to enlighten me in the comments)
So it looks like that the new Fable, from Playground, is going to be a complete reboot.
Since Playground says they're making a new beginning, for the legendary franchise.
I'm honestly excited if they'll reboot it rather than continue from 3 since 3 was a development disaster and so much was cut. And honestly, from the reveal trailer alone, I think Playground will do good. The frog eating the fairy was just the beginning to that Fable sense of humor.
And now there's a new Fable account (right) for the game, on Twitter.
And so, our story begins.
