I can smell the sweet revival of the Fable Fandom from miles away…
I can hear the voices whispering, calling us back to Albion✌️

I just finished reading the Fable: Jack of Blades short story, and it was a pretty fun read! I’m very curious about the protagonist of the story especially. I’m also excited to see what they do for the Theresa and Reaver short stories…

New Fable Details that I’d Like to See/Think Would Add A lot
So since the Dev Direct and learning that character morphing is likely not going to be a thing at all, my excitement dampened for a while, thankfully I thought quietly about all the other parts of the game, played fable 2 and I’m now willing to look past it still not happy, but the rest of the game looks amazing. I may or may not be working on a long ass post about everything I saw in the dev direct, good and bad, that’s sitting in my drafts
1. Time passing and things changing with time. So in fable 2 time passes in two chunks of 10 years with the world changing in result of that, I’m figuring that this if going to happen at least once since there’s a childhood phase confirmed (🙏😩 thank goodness) but I think after that it could be nice if things over time change, even if it’s not real time like watching a tree grow*, then at least if you leave an area and come back it progresses a bit. I think with the giant Dave, if you kill him it would be sick if his body started to rot and break down until eventually turning into a skeleton, or you might I find returning to a town a sign was changed, som boxes are stacked up where they weren’t before, etc. I also think if you aged a bit over time that would be cool too. This might be a biiiit much, but if your kids grew up completely? I sure hope they still start out as baby.
* (I don’t know the full context about the discussion of planting an acorn and watching it grow in real time feel free to enlighten me in the comments)
