Sparrow could never really let go of being a living weapon, even after Theresa took the Spire, so they just kind of kept to the hard life of Herodom. After losing their first family to Lucien they didn't plan on having another, but eventually Logan and Rose just sort of happened; it was before Rose's birth that Theresa decided to show Sparrow the future, and even knowing they were damning their children to the same fate they had to endure, Sparrow just... accepted that.

I know people will argue it’s progression since he was technically using Logan as a puppet and him going after Laylah wasn’t shocking but eh.

Can I request Coco from Witch Hat Atelier, and maybe Reaver from Fable 2/3? I know the second one’s a little more niche, so for context he’s a small farm village boy turned pirate king, turned Industrial-era factory business man and villainous aristocrat that enforces child labour. He also sold his soul for eternal youth, is of a bloodline of heroes with the ability to naturally be really good with ranged weapons like guns, and has parties with balverines (basically werewolves).
