Humble episode 9:

"Hey, look at the light on the ground!"

"It makes a heart!"

"Kinda neat, isn't it?"

Obi-Wan grins. "It is! You know... maybe it's a sign."

"A sign of wha-"

Oh my gosh baby we can pick a better nickname for you!!! 🥺 Anyway though: hello, I’m so sorry to hear that you’re sick! I’m down with a migraine at the moment, so we’re in this together; let’s both feel better soon! 🫶

We have sick headcanons for the boys here, but onwards — you being sick!

Chan:

Surprisingly not freaking out. Makes sure you’ve seen a doctor and that you have everything you need, but the crushing stifling panic you’re expecting doesn’t come; takes care of you, but doesn’t suffocate you. Actually really good at this. A lot of times, you wake up to find him sitting at your desk or on your bed on his laptop, chatting with you or playing you a bit of what he’s working on before you fall back asleep.

Lino:

Surprisingly freaking out. Rushes home between schedules to see you, but pretends to be cool every time, as though his chest isn’t heaving and his hair isn’t all messed up. Takes your temperature an unnecessary amount. Doesn’t show his nerves in an obvious way, but he’s a little docile and a little quiet. Calls his mom for advice while you’re asleep.

Changbin:

Makes sure you’re up to date with what everyone’s up to; doesn’t want you to feel sad or excluded, and chats your ear off when you’re awake. Likes to hang out with you, but pretty practical; stays a safe distance away and usually dips once you fall asleep. Instead of feeding you food for sick people, he encourages any appetite you might have by ordering favorites and cravings.

Hyunjin:

Not practical; drops his whole body on top of you when he gets home. Lovingly calls your cough gross. Really enamored with the concept of being a caretaker but kind of loses track, so unless he’s set timers or something he is not consistently bringing you medicine on time. Good for your spirits, though; a good cuddle buddy. If you have a fever though he’s going to freak out.

Han:

Wants to hang but gets sick easily, so hesitates to get too close; gets close anyway, and gets sick, as the prophecy foretold. When he’s not sick he’s surprisingly good at taking care of you — checks your temperature, brings you food and medicine, keeps your spirits high, knows when to leave you alone — but if you’re both sick (again, inevitable) then he’s pretty helpless. Gives you sad puppy eyes every time you cough.

Felix:

Kind of secretly likes when you’re sick because he has an excuse to fret over you, though obviously he’s happy when you get better because of his help. Valiantly tries to make you home-cooked meals and they’re… pretty good! Sets alarms for medicine, but silences them early if you’re asleep. Enjoys a lot of the small stuff, like detangling your hair for you or holding a glass of water to your mouth. Takes ten billion photos, and not even for blackmail, just because he genuinely thinks they’re cute.

Seungmin:

Unsurprisingly freaking out. Pretty preoccupied with your health in general but it’s taken to the extreme if you’re sick; another rushing home between schedules to see you. Medicine enforcer, rest enforcer, and you keep waking up to find him like, sitting across the room, staring at you. Keeps himself busy though so he hangs out with you a little less outside of his brooding sessions.

I.N:

Panics and calls his mom when you first get sick, but is pretty calm after. Practical; gets you what you need and doesn’t smother you — though he texts you all the time, not even about you being sick, just about normal stuff. Also pretty cautious about catching it, so a lot of times when he hangs out with you he stays towards the foot of the bed. Uses his hand to take your temperature more than a thermometer.

MC (when the boys are sick):

MT: uh.. oh.. I'd say its about.. Uh.. a 7 point arm ripped off..?
