Four new units are available in the ChickHen Condos, the upper units seem to be preferred.

The beginnings of the nest boxes!!
in the basement which might have been a cellar, we found old apple crates clad in cobwebs. at first, i thought we could use all four finds for nest boxes. one disintegrated in my hands, rusted nail heads cracking, splitting, flying across the garage, crowbar cowering. the other crate was sound, but a corner soaked in gas wouldn't sand clean.
two of four have nests in store.
one and three were made by me using the wood of one who would not be.
