As mentioned yesterday, here is the 3 year anniversary post for “City of Monsters Part 2,” where we get the truth of who “Liv,” the levels she is willing to go to in order to get what she wants, the heroes having to face the monsters without HIro and Baymax, how different Liv and Diane are despite being genetically identical, and a sad goodbye as Karmi left the city. :( Admittedly, Fred’s plan did work, even though it was unlikely to and it gave me a good laugh when Mr. Sparkles commented on Ned calling Bessie a she. XD
Although it was sad that Karmi was taken away, I’m glad that Hiro realized how much she actually meant to him and how he helped break Diane’s hold on her. The “I’m ashamed” line from Liv Amara will always give me chills at the implication of how much evil Diane did in order to save one life. O_O
Also, if you didn’t see my other post, I made a new story of what Globby was doing during “City of Monsters Part 2″ on AO3. Here is the link or you can just search “Globby” or “Drama_Glob” and you’ll find it. ;)

BH6 Month Day 10: Scariest Episode: Muira-Horror!
"ROAR!" -Hibagon
"AHHHH!!!" -Go Go Tomago
I thoroughly enjoyed Season 2, but I still feel that one of the worst missed opportunities was regarding the nanoreceptors.
In “Muira-Horror”, the team gets one of the patches that caused Ludd to turn into a monster. It looks remarkably like one of Karmi’s nanoreceptors from “Big Problem”. You would think that the team would actually do something with said information. Maybe do a deep dive into the mechanics of it? Instead, we cut to the next episode, “Something Fluffy”, where they proceed to...lament that they have no proof that Liv is behind the monsters.
Umm...yeah. You do. You literally found it in the last episode.
Hiro does confront Liv at the interview with Bluff, so I guess you could make the case where that was their investigation, but the team’s lamenting is really bothersome.
And I haven’t even gotten into the whole Karmi angle yet? Why do you think I made a whole fuss about it in Continuity?
Go to her. Talk to her. Even if she doesn’t believe you (which she won’t), it sets up the rest of that arc where she slowly starts to think that indeed something is rotten in the state of Denmark.
Er.
California.
Instead, it takes her getting turned into a monster for her to finally see the light.
Talk about a “What if...?” moment. What if...Hiro had actually used his brain for two seconds when it came to Karmi?
Y’all that moment when Mochi threw hands with the Hibagon was epic af why don’t people talk about it more 😩 Original screenshot under cut:
