Fighting for their life trying to die
Introducing... The EVIL Readers!
Introducing the newest baddies in Reader Valley: The Evil Readers! Unlike the Super Readers, these guys like causing trouble for the residents of Reader Valley and like having fun while doing so. Like the titular villains in the Comic Book World, the group of kids were created by the Shuffler, More Man, The Eraser, and Outta Space, to be replacements of the Super Readers turned anti-Super Readers. Currently, they're enrolled in a private school that are rivals to Paige's school.
Here they are!
Exclaimo (Mark/Question Mark) The leader of the Evil Readers and the evil clone of Super Why. Unlike Whyatt, who is friendly, introverted, and good-spirited, Mark is very prideful, extroverted, and very tactless to others. He loves attention and sometimes struggles to understand why other's get so hurt by his comments (that can come off as backhanded). He also loves to boast about being the best at certain things, whilst providing little to no evidence of his self-proclaimed worthiness.
As Exclaimo, he likes messing up the order of upper and lowercase letters and mixing up proper punctuation, caused by his habit of exclaiming words without any control (attributing to a TIC disorder).
Symbol: Exclamation Mark
Blabbermouth (Blair) Second in command of the Evil Readers and the evil clone of Wonder Red. Compared to Red, a sporty, brash tomboy, Blair is a girly, preppy chatterbox who has little to no filter. She often gets in trouble in school for talking during lessons and gossiping about the latest drama. Blair also prides herself in taking care of her looks, often filing her nails or fixing her hair.
As Blabbermouth, she can talk up a storm and cause run-on sentences. She also loves oxymorons (uses them as insults) onomatopoeias, and adjectives, to the point where she spams them too much and forgets commas to make it a proper sentence. Blabbermouth also has a unique ability to control how loud or quiet others or herself are.
Symbol: Volume Button
Spellcastia (Olive) Member of the Evil Readers and the evil clone of Princess Presto. Compared to the aforementioned heroine, a kind, sweet, and gracious princess, Olive is quiet, pessimistic, and clumsy. She's a loner who overthinks everything and uses her powers to make simple figurative language a reality, not understanding what they truly mean.
In her freetime/as Spellcastia, she dresses up as a magical witch and conjures up a variety of spells. Not only do her spells cause figurative language to become real, but she can also make people illiterate, make words the opposite of what they are, and butchering the pronunciation of words.
Symbol: Sparkle Diamond
Color-Guard (Ophelia) The youngest member of the Evil Readers and the evil clone of Alpha Pig. Unlike the others, she's actually the complete opposite of her hero counterpart (rather than smaller changes), right down to the fact she's a girl! She's a strict rule-follower, and gets extremely temperamental when others don't follow what she knows, even when it's proven wrong or overexaggerated. You can also forget her being shy and easily scared: Opheila will speak her mind and will not let you forget it, and her sense of fear is barely nonexistent. The only thing she's afraid of is getting into trouble from an authority figure.
As Color Guard, she doesn't really care about the alphabet like a certain pig, but she's obsessed with making people follow the rules, to the point of ridiculousness. She can make people go, slow, and stop with traffic light (resulting in a long, tedious game of Red Light, Green Light), manifest symbols into the real world, swap signs, and trap people into preforming tasks attributing to the respective sign. Color-Guard can also manipulate the color of an object, which includes people, the sky, and even be used as camouflage or make herself invisible.
Symbol: Traffic Light
Hoopla (Tallulah) Member of the Evil Readers and the evil clone of Power Paige. Like her name says, Hoopla is excited for anything, even if it makes no sense or contradicts the situation at hand (for example, saying hooray when her team loses).
Interjections are her main standpoint, so it'll be common for her to say something with full of emotion, and the Super Readers usually have to fix what kind of emotion is right for a sentence. She's also known for her love of hula-hoops, often knocking out punctuation from sentences when she's too excited.
Symbol: Atom
Evil clones lowkey have it worse y'know. Oh yeah they get to be goofy and flamboyant and torment the hero with their darkest reflection and give the reader/viewer a glimpse into the popular "let's make blorbo evil" fanon thing, but like. At least other types of clones (though tormented by 'I'm not a real person just a copy') are at least sometimes made out love y'know. Like Astro Boy was made bc his dad wanted his kid back. Even lab clones are made for a purpose. Evil clones? Sorry bro your creator just realllllly hates this one specific guy so go beat him up. You actually have zero hope of becoming your own person, because your narrative purpose is to die when the hero overcomes themself. You are a dark mirror to be killed and that's it that's who you are. Worst part is no one will miss you. Creator? Saw you as disposable, will call you a failed experiment and move on to Death Laser #37. You had no friends. The only thing they get is a cool color scheme like damn it must suck to be an evil clone
Evil ugly stupid freak Jax

"What are you talking about? I'm YOU!!"
I saw and recognized my community college campus in a meme, so I jumped in like in Super Mario 64 or Paprika, and then I ran around until I had to fight my supposedly evil clone to the death in some random dorm.
Got a power star before waking up.
