If I have Kuon, Ogre Ascendant, Necroplasm, and 3 creature tokens in play, is there any way to flip Kuon after Necroplasm kills the tokens?
No.
Kuon’s ability and Necroplasm’s ability would trigger at the same time, but Kuon’s ability will only ever trigger if three or creatures died this turn before the end step. If that’s not the case then there’s no trigger at all and no way to cheat it into happening with Necroplasm.
The Spirit’s Tomb
Topi’s Daily Card #1282: Necroplasm
This card is a whole word soup, but I’m a big fan of this card. It’s a card that slowly gets bigger, and the first turn it’s out it’ll destroy all creatures with CMC 0, which means that it’ll destroy all tokens. Next turn, it’ll get all 1 CMC, until it wipes all 3 CMC creatures, killing itself in the process, which you can just dredge back. You can play with this with proliferate, perhaps skipping the 3 cost to save the Necroplasm, or even eat the counters with a card in order to keep players off of their hate bears or something similar. It takes a little work to get this up and running, but it’s a neat card that I’d love to run in a deck soon.
