A bit of a half-redesign for peacock Optimus! Here's ny idea if this concept was brought to life:
The energon feathers only go down to his knees. They are detachable much like ES Twitch's blades and can be used as such during battle! I'd also like them to create a temporary stun or electrifying current effect if Optimus decides to stab the enemy with them.
There's 13 peacock eyes on the scythe representing the primes. I forget if there's 12 or 13 in Tfp?
The squiggly blue on his arms and lower chassis are supposed to be more mesh and feather like a bird. but there should be hard metal beneath them that's black or dark Grey. They can be weak spots, or they can be used to absorb blaster shots and charge that current through to the energon feathers. Haven't decided yet. Since he's important, I may go with the latter one.
Silly idea: Like birds, he sheds. Just the feather portions. So, the blue on his arms and lower chassis. I'd assume the cyan feathers wil either not shed or will turn a dull color before dropping. If I go with that, then I guess it would take a few cycles to regrow them back? Haven't decided yet.
Decided not to add feathers to his helm in this half redesign, but may re-add them in the future!
The scythe is tall, and it is heavy. I wonder if only Optimus could move it? Since it represents the Primes, I don't think Orion Pax would be able to wield it if he reverted and lost his title. It would iust be a heavy and dull looking Scythe.
More may be added or changed in the future...
