hc. the most significant scars nat wears throughout her life are from her time out in the woods. one marks her left shin, and it reminds her every day of javi. the other is in the shape of the symbol from the wilderness: it's crude and ugly, having been carved into her with a buck knife against her will. it sits just above her left shoulder blade, where she can usually keep it hidden. her others are less prominent - nicks from broken glass and a small cluster of tiny, thin scars on her right knee from falling onto gravel as a kid. a faint cigarette burn mark on the inside of her right forearm, courtesy of her dad. still, the worst of her scars are all internal.
