Feminist in Youtube comments: Feminism is about equality! Feminists a few years ago: It's perfectly okay for Captain Marvel to assault a guy and steal his bike because he asked her to smile! Also feminists a few years ago: Any man who asks if gender equality means men get to hit women just wants to hurt women!
I think "equal rights, equal fights" went mainstream despite feminism.
So it's hilarious to see feminists trying to take all the credit for gender equality issues that they've been trying to suppress for decades. Â
Issues mainstream feminism still refuses to call "sexism against men".
As expected, Calicofem blocked me. Or disabled reblogs. Or something.
https://siryouarebeingmocked.tumblr.com/post/693728990966448128/
The irony is that Calicofem is literally making things up and proving my point.
Hereâs what I wouldâve written before I noticed the block.
>You implied that women just make up stuff about misogyny and it's truly weird and strange of you, and the thing is what they're saying probably does happen, you just don't care or you've done it before and don't want to confront that you're a misogynist.
Again, I have literally seen women - and men - apparently hallucinate things that are happening right in front of them. It's either that or they were making it up.
Of course, if they made it up - or misunderstood someone else - and honestly mistook it for reality, it's not lying.
Interesting how you insist I'm a misogynist when I apply the same standard to men.
I also like how youâve backpedalled to âIâm just saying itâs strange (and misogynist).â without any actual argument. Itâs causing cognitive dissonance because youâre a bigot.
>>What about women who disagree with feminists, and say they're misogynist against other women? Are they correct?
>I'd never accuse those women of just making things up about other women though. That in itself is misogynistic.
You didn't actually answer the question, I note.
>But idk, what are they saying feminists are misogynistic for? I'm not saying "all women are always correct" I'm saying that it's strange to accuse women of just Making Things Up about misogyny. And especially for you, since you've never experienced misogyny in your life.
Okay. For all the marbles.
Do you believe any woman in human history, ever, has ever lied about facing misogyny?
Do you believe women have ever been mistaken about perceived misogyny?
âOkay, but did those people have any specific complaints about alleged feminist behavior and changes? Actual examples you tried to disprove?â
âWhy would I waste time doing that, when I can make a snarky post and get my views validated?â
Yall know that âtoxic masculinityâ refers to expressions of masculinity that are toxic, right? it doesnât imply that all masculinity is toxic- itâs used to talk about like, how people will repress their emotions aside from anger in order to seem âmanlyâ, and how they might act in violent or self-destructive ways because that is what society expects of men.
masculinity is not inherently toxic. it hasnât been poisoned or corrupted. it is a neutral concept, a kind of gender presentation, and it doesnât make you a bad, unhealthy, or toxic person to be masculine.
masculinity does not need to be âsoftâ to be acceptable, it can just be neutral. because it is not toxic, just sometimes expressed in toxic ways or for toxic reasons.
imo? Yes.
Like when white women fake cry to win arguments, or to appear to be the victim (despite how much damage they may have caused), or when female abusers point to their femininity as a reason they couldnât possibly be hurting anyone. Or when the girls in school weaponize their performances of femininity against more androgynous, less traditionally attractive, or more masculine girls.
Plenty of cis women have a similarly toxic relationship to femininity as cis men do to masculinity. A good example of a less material expression might be the tendency to self-martyr, using the âcaregiverâ role to guilt trip and gaslight, and abuse in a more manipulative, emotional/mental way than the physical aggression more typical with toxic masculinity.
The patriarchy rewards gender conformity, and requires cis people of both genders to uphold it. Cis women are at a structural disadvantage to cis men regardless, but can absolutely gain more social power by adhering more strictly to traditional femininity- and weaponize that power against others.
So what is an example of toxic femininity in Black women?
"Yall know that âtoxic masculinityâ refers to expressions of masculinity that are toxic, right?" Which is, if you look at other feminist rhetoric, most mainstream masculinity. If someone came up to you and said "you and most people who share your gender/race/sexual preference are Doing It Wrong", I think you'd be a little pissed.
> "or when female abusers point to their femininity as a reason they couldnât possibly be hurting anyone."
You know feminism itself does this all the time, right? Genders abuse as something men do to women, as "violence against women (by men)"?I've also seen countless feminists insist women hurt men less than the converse, or that hurt men somehow deserve it.
Heck, feminists regularly tell men to shut up about their feelings and support women.
It's also interesting how almost all of your examples of "toxic femininity" - which is not a term in common use among feminists - involve specific groups of women who are toxic. Not the parts of femininity which are.
And at the end, you blame the Patriarchy - and thus men - anyway.
I mean, you literally described how female abusers can play innocent, but you still insist cis women are disadvantaged across the board.
Maybe the fact that you have to make this post should tell you thereâs a serious problem with the way feminism addresses masculinity.
And what a shock, nothorses. You have me pre-blocked.
And never responded to Silver.
Ah, now I get it. You probably only care because trans dudes are collateral damage, not because âtoxic masculinityâ hurts cis men. In fact, hereâs another post of yours where you say TM mostly hurts minority men, especially trans men.
Ironic that youâre trying to speak truth to your team about their assumptions while pre-blocking folks.
And if you donât distinguish between those types and the general group, is it reasonable to assume youâre talking about the group in general? Especially when your team regularly makes negative generalizations about that group?

"Male slaves of women do not exist and never have existed, apparently." - itsnotjustpms, 2015
https://itsnotjustpms.tumblr.com/post/115790063544/its-called-feminism-because-were-erased-from?is_related_post=1
Here's criticism of the comic
Feminism started and is arguably strongest in first world countries where women haven't legally been counted as property for generations, at worst.
And I guess Marie Curie, Joan of Arc, Elizabeth I, Cleopatra, all of them and many more have been ignored.
Two years later, this exact same person pretended she cared about men. I wonder what changed?
Also, nobody uses the term "reverse sexism" except feminists strawmanning. And notice how the feminist in the comic doesn't actually deny that she only cares about women.
If people questioning your movement is why you need a movement, then you don't have a real reason. You just have your head someplace unmentionable.

And the feminists who demanded a female titled superhero movie for years had no influence on the executivesâ decision at all? They designed Captain Marvel for and marketed it toward feminists they just assumed existed?Â
What next, youâll tell us Black Panther was made for no reason?
Ah, yes, the standard NPC feminist deflection line. I remember it well. Often from the exact feminists who claimed CM was groundbreaking while ignoring or downplaying Wonder Woman.Â
Some even said and implied Diana was more popular because she was sexier than Carol and nothing else, even after people explicitly told them otherwise.
And then we come to the feminists who frantically tried to downplay Alita, just because the âfanboysâ liked it better.
Oh, this Modern Rogue article looks interesting. I like their Youtube channel. Let me just scroll d-
While society still has a long way to go to help close the gender gap when it comes to pay, there are some very encouraging signs that women criminals may finally outpace their male counterparts perpetrating the same crimes. The number of women in jail is apparently growing faster now than at any other time in history. Truly, this is a wonderful time to be alive and a woman and... in jail, maybe? I think I lost the thread there.
There are several possible contributing factors to what researchers are (stupidly) referring to as âpink-collar crime,â but interestingly a lot of them seem to blame feminismâand not necessarily in bad ways. In 1975, a criminologist named Freda Adler made the strange claim:
âIn the same way that women are demanding equal opportunity in the fields of legitimate endeavor, a similar number of determined women are forcing their way into the world of major crimes.â
So basically exactly how your mom may have fought for equal pay for equal work at her accounting firm, your step-mom wants to be seen as just as good at stabbing dudes as her male ... co-workers? This isnât just talk, either, because weâre seeing the rise of all-female gangs like the Bad Barbies who go around revenge-murdering people. Additionally, we may see more female criminals because women are now the primary breadwinners in 40 percent of homes, meaning theyâre more likely to directly feel responsible for financial pressure and decide to solve their problems by breaking bad.
On the opposite side of this whole debate is an article from 2015 that claims itâs not so much that there are more female criminals as there are fewer male ones. The thought is that men are learning from women that they need to chill the hell out, and hypermasculinity isnât as socially well-received as it used to be. And when men stop being douchebags, they commit fewer crimes.
Either way, itâs good to see feminism having a real-world impact.
Among several obvious flaws here; criminal men are not automatically suffering from âhypermasculinityâ. In fact, criminal behavior is more common in men who grew up without a dad or good male role model.Â
Itâs also interesting how they donât mention the gender gap in convictions and sentencing, which means men are much more likely to be convicted and spend time in jail, across the board. Maybe they didnât notice?
Iâd love to know how feminism is âhelpingâ get more women into crime when it regularly genders crime as a male thing.
This feels like a Cracked article with less crude jokes and references.
