We heard Hodson Bay was a cool area to explore, so we decided to give it a go. Walked approximately four miles, three of which were next to a bigger highway than we anticipated, in high speed windy conditions. Arrived in Hodson Bay, saw that the “area” was really just a resort and a few boats, took a few photos of said resort and few boats, promptly called a cab, and arrived back in Athlone just in time to still get the lunch menu instead of the dinner menu.
