5th batch of Three-Body Merch
finally got my 5th batch of three-body merch from taobao (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th batches)! i'm rather excited this time because i bought some fan made merch.
the fan made merch were sold by the characters, so i bought one set for wang miao and one set for shi qiang. and of course they go well together. each set also included very cartoonish versions of 2 keychains, 1 button badge, and 1 small acrylic stand, but since i'm not a fan of that particular art style, i'm not going to post photos of them.

I have no idea what the fan made merch is based off because they have sets for all major characters from book 1 to 3 of three-body. so i think maybe they are not entirely based off the tv show. BUT, the designs indeed remind me of them immediately which is why i bought the sets:

the notebook has the red coast base design carved out from all the pages which is super cool, and it's so well made. the small button badges are designs from the 2025 chinese new year celebration which is cute too. the rectangular thing on the top right is a acrylic magnet with the cut up ship from project guzheng. i also adore the big button badges with quotes from book 1/season 1. that metal pin in the middle is a space ship being destroyed by the droplet during doomsday battle in book 2. you can actually close and open the gap to make it a whole ship or a ship broken into half which is cool!
last but not least, i want to show you the button badge display cases i also bought from taobao. i put the small badges of dashi and miaomiao from the photo above into these cases:
what i really want to mention are the display cases which are shaped like the chinese characters 狗/dog and 猫/cat. i think the design is really quite brilliant, and we all know miaomiao is a cat and dashi is a german shepherd. so these couldn't fit them better!
