I find it interesting how Gutta's albinism is never commented upon. Ever. Perhaps the main characters are variable enough that they just don't care when someone is too pale.
It's common for people with albinism to be portrayed as villains in media. Think of Da Vinci Code, Princess Bride... Either that or they're ostracised for their looks (Maya and the Three), shunned, or treated like ghosts (The Invisible Man, the novel), which often turns them into antagonists as well. The trope Albinos Are Freaks exists for a reason, but I still don't know if it applies to Gutta.
Possible spoilers below!
The two Birds together, on my pencils.
The yellow bird is Coocky and she doesn't really like Boule-De-Neige, but I guess it's different when they are on my pencils

They/them nonbinary disabled
Wanted to get at least one drawing in for disability pride month before I got completely absorbed by Art Fight! I was waffling between a feature of a character with a visible disabilities or invisible ones, since both come with their own issues and deserve recognition. Then I remembered Tielo actually fits into both of those categories! They have albinism, as well as the invisible but no less disabling celiac disease.
As a migraine sufferer myself, I definitely empathize with the experience of being dismissed or accused of over blowing what I'm dealing with- something I channel into Tielo's difficulties getting people to take their need for gluten-free food seriously. They also get the obnoxious stares and awkward, prying questions that come with a visible disability. But in spite of everything, they are proud of who they are, and will never stop advocating for themselves and others.
