My new buddy is here! A flag tailed centipede (Alipes multicostis)! He was delivered to me in a glass mason jar lol, I'll be rehousing him later into something nicer.. but for now he gets a mealworm to snack on ❤️

Baby scorpo update. So, sadly this little guy here is the only baby left. Scorpo had 4 babies, and 3 of them died within a week of them leaving their mom. No idea why. They all were in identical enclosures, fed the same things at the same time, etc. I didn't want to post about the babies because I wasn't sure if I was going to lose this one too.. but it's been a few months now.
This one is doing great though, he has a great feeding response and is a very active little baby. Very sassy like his mom too. He's looking all chonky right now because he ate a big cricket today. Hoping he continues to do well ❤️
My ghost mantis just had his final molt :') which is cool because he grew his adult wings, but also sad because he's in the last stage of his life now. This afternoon once his wings harden up some more I'll try to get some pictures of him but man he's already looking so cool

My largest species of isopod, Porcellio hoffmannseggi 🌿 third picture is an adult beside some babies of the same species.. the babies are the size of a regular isopod lol
Went back in my google photo history to find these. This is my buddy shield mantis that I made friends with in Costa Rica in 2016. Ever since then I've wanted pet mantids so damn bad but could never find a breeder in Canada. I'm so happy I finally did and get to raise some of these cuties :'')
