my new keyboard 🫶🩷 i've been planning & buying parts for this since may!! i'm obsessed with it, it's so clacky.. i loove the typing sound profile

and look how cute the little screen is!!! i've just left the default theme it comes with, a little cat that types while you type 😭.. i'm gonna look into what else i can do with the screen.. such a cool little feature

just watched a star trek episode about a planet that relied so heavily on it's computer system that they all forgot the basics of their own knowledge. and that allowed them to miss the fact that they were being posioned with radiation and nearly ending their civilization. because they couldn't use their own knowledge to figure things out. i bring this up for no reason in particular

#went to go visit my husband's parents today #we all drove to port dover and got lunch #didn't get home until like 5pm #then spent the rest of the evening having a couple drinks and playing video games with my husband #we're doing an Elden ring co-op playthrough .... again lol #I'm doing a pure faith build this time tho and it's so fun I think it's actually my favourite build to date

I'm so excited, it's been a few years since I've built a new board and I looove the colour scheme I picked for everything (will post pics when I finish it!!)

The board is a QK80 MK2, I got Gateron "baby kangaroo 2.0" tactile switches, "Monet's Psychedelic" keycaps by Key Kobo, and a cute new deskmat with art from An.Go 🩷

#drakan: the ancient gates #my dad introduced me to the first one.. drakan: order of the flame.. on pc in the 90s #then i got the second one for ps2 and was so incredibly obsessed with it #i actually just replayed it this year on an emulator with retro achievements.. it still holds up.. such a good game
