Okay so basically a put quite of bit of thought into the design. For one, despite the character being fae, they have feathered wings. This is because the ‘ink’ (black goop/spores) dripping from the mushroom was used as ink during writing and it’s a nod to the quills they wrote with. And the spores are produced from the mushroom withering away and turning into them, resulting in the character’s skin being very sickly pale and skinny, malnourished in general. The tail has a little cap and the wings and dress are tattered due to well, falling apart. :33
