Your fun fact is that the largest living organism in the world is a honey fungus, it’s old and immeasurable! Approximately seven acres if I recall correctly…these guys get Everywhere in forests. Killer fungus though (f).

You can see the missing spinal process at L1 where my vertebra was smashed & the bone shards removed. I'll have to update this postmortem self portrait to remove the metal hardware, since I finally got my busted spinal fusion reversed after 20 years of agony. Relentless agony. Recovery has been hell, but I can already tell I was right; the pain was coming from the broken metal rods embedded in my spine. I didn't have a pain disorder. My body was reporting a real fucking problem. I don't know if I'll ever stop being angry about the 20 years I lost to a haze of pain.

I'm still disabled. Still paralyzed. It'll take years to rebuild my body from the muscle atrophy from being trapped in bed.
