One finished #nivmizzet took a #wizkids Gargantuan White Dragon (one of their unpainted minis, not one of the new prepainted Ravnica minis) and painted him to be Niv-Mizzet, then I scratch built the base from recycled items and household things to be a well used #steampunk style facility. The #steamvents under his wings have glowing lights and the green goo glows in the dark. Used lots of my beloved #typhuscorrosion and #nihilakhoxide with a bit of #ryzarust because I love my #citadeltechnical paints for weathering, and I love weathering. A #wip of my #nivmizzet #miniature it is a #whitedragon from @wizkidsgames I'm painting into Niv, because that head fringe is perfect for the dragon that is a giant Betta fish. My original plan was to take a dragon and sculpt the fringe, but this guy came out and I decided it was so much easier. A while ago Ben was testing something with Pathfinder rules and wanted a couple of ideas for characters to run through his test, so I suggested Planeswalkers and somehow Ral ended up as a gnome as voiced by the Pharaoh from Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged. This has become a ridiculous long running joke. I've been planning this project for over a year trying to find the perfect #miniature and decided that a perfect one did not exist, so I'd have to get inventive.
