Meet Mrrrrrrg (the r is silent), a mindflayer wizard on the Knightâs Watch (dnd pigs for the setting)
Me: Boundaries is going to end after the trilogy because thatâs when the most significant payoff for the narrative occurs and also because navigating the Investigations games with seeing the dead powers is an absolute nightmare that would require literal reworking of the cases.
My brain: Byrneâs spirit is still barely clinging to this world but canât even remember Why heâs following this little girl around. He just knows its important. He insists that he knows something Very important about the case but he Just canât quite remember. But if you channel me (and he would use the word channel because I hinted back in chapter 1 that Badd was probably the one who told them to ask the Feyâs) maybe Iâll remember and be able to help!
Thatâs not how it works. I drain spirits. One as weak as you likely would simply disappear the moment you took over.
But itâs worth a try, isnât it? Im fine with that risk.
Edgeworth only agrees cause heâs genuinely worried the kidnapper is going to kill Ernesto and because that Interpol agent had a double duty army. Alive and dead, and there is something going on here.
So Edgeworth grabs the spirits core (stolen from ghost trick and also set up in 3-5) and pulls it in.
Faraday doesnât manage to push Edgeworth out of his body but those flashes of memories do come back. Are shared.
And then a moment later Bryne Faraday is gone forever.
The whole bit that follows is Edgeworth suddenly has so many of Bryneâs memories that come in flashes and moments and keep overtaking him. Thatâs my daughter. Hey Badd long time no see. I could pick the lock to that safe.
It is incredibly disorienting. Especially when he wakes up and makes Kay pancakes just the way Daddy used to. How did you know?
At some point before 2-1 Edgeworth bursts into Wright and Company and demands Maya exorcise him. Wright and Kay swap stories in the other room while she tries to. But she canât. Are you sure youâre possessed Princey?
Yes clearly I am. I started looking up high schools that would accept Kay this time of year yesterday! I called her my daughter in my head- Iâve known her a WEEK Maya.

This month, for the first time, men participated in the Junior Russian Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships (you can watch their routines in the video below). Irina Viner has been championing the devâŚ
Get ready for some excerpts
For Viner, the development of menâs rhythmic gymnastics is likely the way to save RG as an Olympic sport. The IOC is trying to achieve gender parity at the Games and they are unlikely to allow a sport that is available to only one gender to be a part of the Games for much longer.
âBecause people have a very interesting flow of associations, they immediately imagine men in leotards doing womenâs elements. That is also being done â by the Spanish school. They even wrote to me: âYou know, itâs us whoâs doing rhythmic gymnastics, while youâre doing something elseâ. I think that from the physiological point of view, men canât compete against women. It would be like watching a boxing match between a man and a woman â you know whoâs going to win, right? Girls are more flexible but men are stronger and have more endurance. They canât compete against each other and judging of that canât be objective. But there is another school [of menâs rhythmic gymnastics] â the Japanese one. Thatâs where menâs rhythmic gymnastics originated.â
âBut the Spanish just copied what the girls had. I wonât say anything thatâs not politically correct about this but after the Spanish [started their sport], the attitudes towards rhythmic gymnastics became polarized. Some are saying âactually, thatâs really cool that boys are doing the same thing as girls and look like girlsâ. And some say the opposite: âEw, itâs grossâ. So, there it is. Even in our country, many did not understand that weâre supporting the Japanese initiative because itâs the one that reflects characteristics of menâs physiology â strength, endurance, coordination, and power.â
âHow can I say something [about the Spanish]? What they do is difficult. But if weâre judging objectively, their version of rhythmic gymnastics goes against the physical capabilities of boys and men. Itâs as if an elephant felt he was a sparrow; this can also seem not politically correct. But theyâre forcing themselves to do things that are natural for female bodies. Perhaps, itâs sexism and someone will accuse me of it but I think that in every sport â and you can even see it in the Olympic rules â men should not compete with women.â
âFirst, itâs the Russian culture â here, people just wonât accept it. Second, itâs wrong in terms of the physiology, a guy should grow strong according to his nature and the Spanish version of rhythmic gymnastics wonât allow it.â
*DEEP BREATH* Where to even begin...
"iF mEn dO fLeXiBiLiTy ThEy gO aGaiNsT tHeiR nAtUrE" yeah, like women are just ~naturally~ meant to bend their spines so that their head touches their butt. Just admit you're a misogynist that can't do a penchĂŠ pivot or a split leap with back bend dude
Itâs so infuriating that they're using japanese menâs âRGâ as a cover for "oh yes weâre adding men to RG ;)" except it's not actual RG ;) have fun tumbling with rope ;) no pirouettes for you boys ;)
I donât mind what the japanese are doing on its own it's such a hybrid discipline and if it becomes The Official Men's RG, the spanish men etc. are gonna end up even more niche and unknown and it's going to be yet another barrier against boys that would want to do actual pure RG :(
It must be so upsetting for russian boys i sometimes see on instagram explore doing all sorts of apparatus work and even some flexibility elements. If they could have access to the coaches, choreographers, theyâd be rivaling the spanish in no time since itâs a matter of life and death for russia to winÂ
Even if they're against men doing the exact elements the women do, the ballet point should be an idea worth pressing forward, keep the women's apparatuses and add jumps like male ballet dancers do to the code, add pairs if you must (Iâd actually be interested in a RG pas de deux - i wonder if acro gymnasts would be happy about them doing lifts too though ahahha)
GAH im getting more and more annoyed the more i think, things will be stuck in this dead end of this new discipline that neither this nor that and i fear it will make it even more difficult to change once itâs cemented itself as menâs RG even if itâs! not! whatâs! actually! been! called! RG! for! decades!
Fuji TV has heard my endless begging and praying for an MRG/rhythmic gymnastics sports anime đđ It will kick off in April 2021!!

Another weekend, another set of proxies; this time for my Tormod/Kamahl EDH deck. I'm starting to like making these more than having the actual cards heheh
A made a lot more LoL references here than expected, and though I haven't played in years, it played a large part in my high school days.
Midna is not happy about being called a "stinkweed imp".
These definitely aren't much, but it was indeed honest work.
I always found Ivern hilarious, and I wish I gave Kindred a try both before and after their rework from burst-y jungler to attack speed type.
I also play Legends of Runeterra! That game is just mind-blowingly fun and well-designed. I wish MTG would make a digital-only format where they incorporate some mechanics possible only through digital, like Toss and other deck interactions. I hope someone at Wizards will hear this, or at least thing it's kinda cool đ
And then there's these guys. Hoping for a new print of the praetors when we return to Phyrexia.
