#moving schools

i'm moving schools!! I'm moving to a private school which is about an hour away, and it means i need to take a train and two busses everyday to get to school.

Nonetheless, there are some cons;

the school is ugly (I’m allowed to admit that)

i will miss my teachers

pros;

i get to leave my friends without consequences

education in english

more time to ponder on the train

I still have to complete this year, which means i also still have homework. Which sucks. speaking of, i have a load of spanish homework to do, so i need to remind myself to do so this week.

Though i'm not sure if i have time, consider how i'll have an internship this week at the university of Oslo, at the department of theoretical astrophysics!!

I've been having regular issues with some relationships and friendships for most of the year, and it's starting to take a big toll on me. I've gone to my school counsellor and many other people for help to try and resolve the issue, but it hasn't worked. I've been thinking of moving schools for a little over a year now, but last year it was just a topic floating around my head. Now it's a constant thought I am having.

My current school doesn't really offer many extracurriculars that is beneficial to me (eg. the drama club and choir both are poorly funded and don't provide me with any more learning than I already have on the topic). I chose electives that apply to my career choice, such as drama and music. Both of those classes aren't beneficial to me, especially drama, because the teacher barely knows what she's talking about and I don't actually learn anything while I'm in the class, so they are (to me), essentially useless.

Like I said before, I've been struggling with some relationships and friendships this year, and while I've contacted and spoken to the school counsellor and other people, nothing has really changed. The only way to get away from the issue is by moving schools.

There are a lot of other issues I can't address, but I genuinely think that moving schools may be best for me. Another issue is that the schools I'm looking at moving to are all too expensive, or too far away. Also I'm worried about finding new friends, as I've been at my current school for 7 years.

Should I stay at my current school for the rest of my schooling (10, 11, 12) or should I move?

i mean ive kind of already made up my mind but I guess I just want some other input that isn't from my friends :)
