Today i had one simple thing on my schedule; a lecture. A lecture about CMB and the expansion of the universe. Held by Princeton and Cambridge professor - Jo Dunkley. And as if it wasn't enough to have her answer a question of mine, i had the honour of speaking to her after.

The day after (march 7th) i had a meeting with the CMB group regarding new collected data. The meeting sounded exciting enough by itself, but to then figure out that Jo Dunkley was there as wel was a otherworldly experience. And! i got to sit next to her. She even recognized me and remembered my name!!

i'm moving schools!! I'm moving to a private school which is about an hour away, and it means i need to take a train and two busses everyday to get to school.

Nonetheless, there are some cons;

the school is ugly (I’m allowed to admit that)

i will miss my teachers

pros;

i get to leave my friends without consequences

education in english

more time to ponder on the train

I still have to complete this year, which means i also still have homework. Which sucks. speaking of, i have a load of spanish homework to do, so i need to remind myself to do so this week.

Though i'm not sure if i have time, consider how i'll have an internship this week at the university of Oslo, at the department of theoretical astrophysics!!

Today i had a school assignment where my task was to make a meal for my family following the sector graph provided by the government as to how much of each food class we were encouraged to eat.

Since the people of Norway (and many other countries) aren't very good at following this advice, it became the main focus of our assignment.

50% fruit and vegetables

25% carbohydrates and fiber

25% protein and fish

I made a salad with a recipe i received from my grandmother, pasta from a local family business, and salmon from the grocery store.

For the pasta sauce, i made a normal marinara sauce but with some spinach, as i'm quite confident my brother isn't too enthusiastic about salads.

This is about the average dinner i make, but this time i had to document the process.

I have a Norwegian midterm tomorrow which is most likely worth 80% of my grade. There is a new Norwegian part in the midterm, and if I do not receive a dictionary I might kill myself on the spot, but I don’t think things will go too bad nonetheless.

sure i doubt i'll do absolutely horrendous on the test, but I often overestimate my skill in norwegian. The rest of the midterm is nothing all too bad, it's the new Norwegian that makes me clutch my pearls. My first language is english, but apparently skipping a grade in English isn't enough to prove that I am in fact in no position to be doing new norergian.

We aren't given much material to work with either, just an example test from 8th grade. So I studied by quickly grazing my eyes upon a few literary terms, and I don't believe there is much else I can do. I suppose I just need to prepare myself for a lot of writing.

why is he moving out now? In august he will no longer live at home, perhaps visiting home on Mondays and Wednesdays, but no more. I understand that he is a danger, but as his older sister I feel it’s justified for me to feel distain towards this action, don’t you think?
