#MOVECREW et all: An award on a Surgury week is a MAJOR #NSV for me. . There are 2 (of many) things my accident in 2017 has taught me: . 1️⃣ I am a fighter. I’m stronger than anyone (more so myself) ever thought I would be. . 2️⃣ Life will always have setbacks. Learning to evaluate, re-strategize, then use the foundation built along my journey, allows me to rise (again), even if it takes me 5 x’s longer. . . I wouldn’t wish #ChronicPain or #ChronicIllness on ANYONE... yes, in a weird way, I’m “glad” it happened. It forced me to learn to rise from ashes... instead of becoming them.
