Genuinely why are people so surprised by the Incest ships in the Dexter fandom. Between Dexter and Brian referring to each other as Barbie and Ken. i cant stop thinking about just how many people are head over heels in love with dexter. he can get away with so much just because all he needs to do is give ANYONE those neglected shelter dog eyes and they'll crumble at his feet like sand. and the moser/morgan siblings???? hello??? deb is canonically in love with dex, brian is fucking weird about dex, and brian fucked deb who is his brothers sister (he also only got with her to get closer to him it's all a big mess), and dexter is just caught in the middle and so confused asking the hallucination of his dead abusive father for advice. someone give that guy a break from everything (especially his siblings) jesus christ.
everyone is miserable and needs therapy and i love it and i love horror that goes down this route. fictional relationships don't need to be healthy. they need to be compelling. and holy fuck is it compelling! fiction is a great beautiful way to explore taboos!
