Y'all, I mean this in the nicest way possible: if you are/were one of the people who say/said "I mean, I don't/didn't enjoy school, but I like/liked not being At Home, does that count as liking it?"... In the words of the great Mia Wong, morale is a terrain of struggle. In other words, if you lose the will to fight fascism, fascism will win. So if you are living in a country where fascism is encroaching and you are afraid you can't fight it, here are a few recommendations for pieces of media that might boost your morale, give you hope, and empower you to carry on the struggle.
Superman (2025), watch this movie, feel the hope flow through your veins and bask in the joy and optimism that it exudes like the warm glow of the sun.
If it's True, a song from the musical Hadestown, it's a beautiful and inspiring song about how we are many, they are few, and this gives us more power than them. The whole musical slaps, but If it's True is perhaps the most inspiring song in it.
