Pondering Mopple. Thrust into the role of a living archive in a society where everyone besides him can choose to forget everything bad that ever happens to them. Burdened with the knowledge of their own mortality, of how unbelievably lucky they are to have a shepherd who loves each of them as individuals and would never so much as think about hurting them. Can't confide in anyone about these weights he carries, because then that'd shatter the blissful, comforting illusion he's trying so desperately to preserve with little lies and fantastical tales, and it's only until someone in his herd comes face-to-face with death itself, human and sheep, that he's forced to confront the reality he's been trying to hide from the others. ('Lily...he's dead.' / 'Lily...he's dying.') Imagine being the only one in your family, in your whole world, who knows you can and will die, that any and all roads lead to nothingness. I am talking about a cgi sheep.
