I Draw Stuff

AT LAST, that big drawing I've been working on for days and days (maybe it's been weeks, I haven't kept track of time) is FINALLY DONE! I CAN FINALLY SLEEP AGAIN!

Anyway I know I've already done this huge musical crossover drawing before but the reason I decided to make a new one is that I wanted a new desktop background but when I tried setting the last version as my desktop wallpaper it wouldn't fit properly, but I really liked the idea of it being my desktop background so I decided to draw an entirely new version instead. And the last time I did this drawing I gave myself a rule that I can't use the same actor more than once (for example in the last one I only had Maria from the Sound of Music and no Mary Poppins because they're both played by Julie Andrews) but this time I just said fuck it and included the same actors multiple times. Also I did give myself a rule that I wouldn't include animated films because that would make this even more crowded (for one thing I'd have to include almost every animated Disney film ever made and then there's animated musicals from other studios...yeah nah lol)

However, we also got our first sneak peak at the older designs of the dronkeys in a background photo and...it's disappointing.

They're just copy-pastes of Donkey with some red and some dragon features on them. Anyway that reminded me of my own designs I made of the dronkeys as adults a few years ago and it made me wanna draw them again. I ended up redesigning my own designs along the way though lol...I like my designs a lot more now.

I also wanna add as a reminder that they're all bigger than Donkey but much smaller than Dragon (basically horse-sized). My reason for this was due to mules irl being bigger than donkeys since they're half-horse, so it would make sense the same logic would apply here since they're half-DRAGON. I didn't want them also being bigger than their mom though because that would obviously be way too much lmao.

A crossover ship of mine, Nikki from Obsession and Iris from Companion. Maybe one of these days I'll be creative enough to actually think of a full-blown crossover AU storyline for them :p

For their clothes I just gave Nikki the outfit she was wearing at the start of Obsession and Iris the outfit she wore at the end on Companion. I also wanted those injuries Nikki gave herself in the party scene to be healed by this point so I gave her stitches.

I tried thinking of a ship name but all I could come up with was Willowbot ("Willow" because of the One Wish Willow and "bot" obviously because Iris is a robot). I was kinda meh on it at first but it's kinda grown on me...

All Dogs Go to Heaven fanart that takes place years after the movie showing Itchy, who lived a long life by Anne-Marie's side before passing away from old age, reuniting with his old friend Charlie in Heaven.

I saw that today would've been Judith Barsi's 48th birthday so I got the idea to draw her two beloved characters together (Anne-Marie from All Dogs go to Heaven and Ducky from The Land Before Time)

I've been wanting to draw book-accurate Carrie White for a long time and finally got around to it. I love Brian De Palma's film adaptation and Sissy Spacek's portrayal of Carrie in it with all my heart but Carrie in the book was fat, unattractive and covered in acne and obviously Sissy Spacek's Carrie wasn't any of that. Every other adaptation of the book also cast actresses who didn't resemble book!Carrie, and there's an upcoming miniseries adaptation made by Mike Flanagan (who I am a fan of) but once again they cast a thin actress :/

I finally drew Rocky from Project Hail Mary and decided to come up with my own design for his mate Adrian too. I also gave them some little pebbles :3

The majority of fan designs for Adrian portray her* as bigger than Rocky and some shades of blue and I decided to follow suit. I really hope the film team sees some of the fan designs for Adrian because when she inevitably appears in the sequel I'll be very disappointed if she isn't blue and bigger than Rocky lol

Just of fun I decided to draw an Eridian based on a necklace my mom made me (she makes jewelry; I got the rock when we went to a rock and gem show together and then she made it into a necklace) :3

They don't have a name yet.

Finally finished my drawing of all the sheep from The Sheep Detectives.

I saw The Sheep Detectives a few days ago (I was not expecting to be such a sobbing mess by the end, good god lol) and I do have a drawing of all the sheep together that I'm working on but I wanted to draw this one first.
