I drew for awhile with @beevesj and wanted to post a few of these here! Mostly experiments and sketches, but I like how they turned out c:
Some warmup doodles to practice different poses! These are...varying in quality, the first is my favorite! Top to bottom: -Hailstorm and Lime having some silly contest where they see who can stay in that position longest. I can't tell you how big of goofs these two are together. -My gentle freckle children (Moon and Sunny). Trying to get that accurate size difference aaaa -Plant pony -Terri eating a sucker (I don't say it much but she eats way too much candy for her own good)
Do any particular one of your ponies have no desire to be in a romantic relationship ever?
Yeah, I have a couple aro/ace OCâs! Starfruit Splash and Moonlight Step both are and do decide to live together eventually but as like super close forever BFFs. No romance here!Â
Talking strictly romantic orientations, Hailstorm is my only other aro OC. Sheâs not opposed to a relationship but is also super content where sheâs at cause she just doensât feel the need?

Ahhh, this is a good question! Time for some cute headcanons!
Moon and Sunny have been friends since foalhood. Before their first day of school, neither had had many friends-Moon didnât get out much and when she did, she preferred to play alone because of some bad reactions she got to her tomboy-ish interests. Shyness had a bit to do with it after that fact, and her parents as well. They had always been strict, and they worried over her a bit too much after that, thinking she wouldnât have friends (urging her to be a bit more proper and when she wouldnât, not introducing her to anyone in fear of what theyâd think). Sunny was just more introverted, and preferred to be home and help out there around his parentâs orchard. He has narcolepsy too, and would rather be around his parents who understood his routine and keep him on a proper diet and such.Â
The first day of pony kindergarten, Moon noticed Sunny almost immediately in class. She sat farther in the back and he more up front, so she had a lot of time to observe. She originally noticed him for his bright yellow coat, but became more intrigued as she saw how kind he was to his classmates and how quietly curious he was. Even the occasional nodding-off in class (she had to keep herself entertained somehow, after all). She thought of him in her mind as âSunnyâ before she learned all of her classmatesâ names (It eventually became his nickname, as you see).Â
Some time early in the school year Moon was playing around at recess and some other foals started to tease her in some way. Most likely for the same reasons as before, her tomboy-ish ness. Sunny noticed her crying and went to comfort her, telling her it didnât matter what others thought as long and that she should stay true to herself. They had a great heart-to-heart and Moon really really appreciated that he went out of his way to talk to her. Sunny actually got his cutie mark then, and realized he wanted to help others (Heâs interested in psych, specifically gender/gender role stuff). From then on they were friends IN THE MOST CINNAMON ROLL SORT OF WAY. SERIOUSLY THESE TWO. Theyâre like permanently attached at the hip.

Lol, I wouldnât but sheâs already canonically short as a pony. I donât think she minds generally, but it might be more limiting in her human form.
I know the short feel a bit, but I like to reemphasize that iâm -average- height (5'5" is not that short > :/)
I think iâll stick around 5'2" or 5'3" though, thatâs probably short enough xD
