my favorite bits of art i made this year :)
Recent monoprints from life drawing
These were executed casually β ink brushed loosely onto a plastic plate, working from quick drawings. Then I scraped into the sticky ink with a disposable chopstick (mostly the ragged broken-apart end), and wiped marks with a cotton bud and a rag. And they were printed on cartridge paper, not the Japanese paper I prefer. I suspect their energy comes from the fact that I wasnβt nervous about spoiling expensive paper.
