Flavor of the week anime is stupid. So is tiddie anime. Guess what's both? Dragon maid. It's like literally every other moeshit out right now, "cute girls doing cute things". You can't use the argument 'can we just watch something funny and cute' because there are tons of anime like that out there that aren't moeshit. It's called 'comedy', and if people stopped looking at anime titties for a second, they could find some good ones out there. Look at Barakamon, Gugure! kokori-san, Show by Rock, anime that are all cute, funny, and look, only one of them has moeshit troupes. But they all have substance, they have story and development. They aren't made to be a cash cow. I mean, really, when people say SHIT TASTE, it usually means the stuff that's crammed in our faces because its popular. Moeshit is popular right now, and its probably a lot worse than that shit "main character is strong and the chosen one" troupe, due to the fact that it's literally watching nothing happen. Who reads a book for it to be the same thing that happens every page? People who turn their brains off and fantasize about having friends, but make no effort to go out and make some. Moe is a mistake.
