= I mentioned this in my notes but I really am just so happy that two issues in and we're already making it clear Zack will be written with respect and appreciation for his skills beyond "the guy who makes jokes and is Trini's love interest sometimes." It really shows how he never fully recovered after That Scene in Necessary Evil that it took a complete clean slate to get things back on track for him

= The way this scene kinda sets up Kim's arc by implying she doesn't think she has useful skills anymore oughhhghghhghh why does every modern writer look at Kim and go know what she needs? depression (even though she'll be the one to rally everyone together at the end..........gosh I'm just so excited to see her journey)

= Good wrap on the introduction! These opening issues did a good job at setting stuff up and giving (mostly) everyone some time to shine but I'm excited to move along and get into the meat of the story and individual character work

= Rita Rabiosa confirmed to be from another realm! And confirmed motivations of targeting Trini's daughter as a life for a life for her own child (she specifically says "child" aka gender-neutral but I don't care about Thrax I'm pretending it's an alternate Selena for now)

= That and Tommy encountering That Thing at the end....I do think my theories of Green either being set in an alternate future where Rita Rabiosa won OR in Rita Rabiosa's home dimension are correct

= last Lore Note but Rita Rabiosa mentions Jason being demoted by Zordon so that's another point to the White Ranger already existing. Or maybe Tommy became leader as Green. Which would be hilarious
