It would largely help if part of why Kagami hates him is cause she can clock him and she finds it disturbing whenever he pretends to be Adrien. Like, Kagami can tell them apart and makes it a point to say Felix is nothing like Adrien... which may contribute to why Felix might develop a crush on Kagami. The one person who consistently tells them apart. They'd also need A LOT more time simmering but again, this is why I said I don't need it to be canon. They can stay on the stage of "tolerating each other for Adrien" or "Felix having a one-sided crush on Kagami" for the rest of the series.

It’s a classic “the pathway to hell is paved with good intentions” situation. We know, on surface level, Marinette isn’t withholding the info from Adrien about Gabriel or about his true identity as a Senti out of malicious intent. Just like how Marinette, on surface level, doesn’t often tell AdriChat stuff out of malicious intent. But those “good intentions” doesn’t erase the fact that Marinette is lying to Adrien about a very important thing that he has EVERY right to know.

The models are inconsistent, and half of them looks uncanny valley. Its odd enough that 3 different animation companies using different models. Am not saying animation is easy (because it’s not). am just saying animations are just off-putting.

It never goes away, because she’ll belike this. season 4 got you thinking stalking was gone until simpleman. The show never really progress, and only progress when on the season finale. Marinette is flat as a rock with her development, making her guardian didn’t do her better. His mention for chloe, just borderline stupid too. It’s her arc, more like came out of no where.if you wanted to make her have her “evil” arc, why tf you have to bring in a half sister just to prove “she bad lmao.” If anything, that just prove why chloe is is better then her half sister because Chloe have a persnality and actually struggled awhile zoe didn’t. The character isn’t bad, if you have to constantly shove how BAD chloe is.

Let mention how you don’t do culture correctly either. I may not know much culture of chinese, but Its done so wrong. Even straight up put a offensive flag in the show. Not to mention racist elements in the comics. IS he racist though? well more like person who didn’t research fully at all.

Here’s why encanto better then miraculous

Memorable and likable characters

doesn’t make me want to pull out my hair out 24/7 or get mad

doesn’t normalize toxic behavior and actually addresses completely why the things happened the way it did. 

Main character actually likeable

story actually progresses

doesn’t confuse the shit out of you

And thats great. But is no-one else gonna talking about the scene between Sabine and the Bus Driver??? (Or whoever he is) cause… and feel free to call me a pessimist for this or whatever… but it feels like it’s got a heavy undertone of racism under it all.

The fact that the bus driver is the one in her face, the fact that cops are waiting, WAITING, for Sabine at the next stop (Roger and all) and they seem to immediately cuff her.

To me, it screams Racism, like the bus driver is being an ass cause Sabine Is Chinese and the cops would be on his side. (Sure, I had the thought that maybe Sabine accidentally gave Marinette her ticket and was getting shit for that but it’s still no excuse for the behaviour they showed her.)

If, and it’s a big If, this is a subtle message they’re trying to squeeze into the episode, then I hope they do it justice. I hope they have the bus driver learn from his mistakes and I don’t want that hashed down to a “It’s alright, it happens” from Sabine. (Especially after she showed such ACAB behaviour)

If they’re trying to put any message in, I want it to be “This behaviour is not Ok, it’s unacceptable. And you should never do it.”

Honestly his depression and the way he’s acting is justified to me. Man has been a hero since day one and the fact that he’s becoming less and less needed hurts. And when he tries to be more involved and help Ladybug shuts him out. So when he gives up his miraculous (for the second time) it’s finally the straw that broke the Camel’s back.

But then the show tries to debunk it by saying the reason he’s acting like this is because Ladybug doesn’t love him. Marinette thinks she’s done no wrong ,but Plagg tells her upfront that her constantly neglecting and keeping Chat Noir out the loop has led him, to be fed up and quit, but she some how misreads it as he quit because I won’t love him. That and she literally almost breaks the identify rule (Which to be honest it’s hypocritical of her specifically enforcing this rule with Chat, and no one else. Plus this rule has become so idiotic) Until Plagg reminds her why they can’t know each others identities (which is stupid but that’s a rant for another time). Then Plagg just pulls a big brain play w/ an assit from Tikki.

Now we get to when this episode picks up. The moment Plagg comes back to Adrien and the two are coming up with a new Persona is great, these two have the best Kwami and Holder bond in the show. that and when they come up with names is cool, and finally decide on Cat Walker (Also @wield-the-mighty-pen point out that Cat Walker is a pun which is just adorable)

Now let’s talk about Cat Walker (CW). I’m disappointed we didn’t get a transformation scene but his reveal makes it better. But CW is literally just how Adrien acts with Nat and Gabriel (Which is really sad because Chat Noir’s original purpose was a form of escapism) He’s made to be a perfect partner for Ladybug which is basically a yes man, and we see how much more capable Adrien becomes when he isn’t flirting and is serious. Ladybug actually listens to him and I’m just thinking are we going to have him for the rest of the season

Short answer is no because Marinette/Ladybug can’t concentrate with him there and can’t use her lucky charm properly (She’s to horny to think straight). And the shows basically says “Ohh the reason Cat Walker can’t help is because Ladybug can’t incorporate him in her lucky charm plan”. Which is just dumb because we see that CW could’ve beaten the villain by himself, and the reason the lucky charm wasn’t working at first was because Ladybug was crushing hella hard.

Fast forward an Adrien’s back to being Chat Noir, and I hate how the show puts him in the wrong. I get it he should’ve thought about the consequences before taking off the ring but if I was constantly put on the shelf, neglected and kept out of the loop I would’ve gone rogue or quit. And then Ladybug say he’s “irreplaceable” and I’m just like IF HE WS IRREPLACEABLE YOU TREAT HIM BETTER.

I just realized I didn’t even talk about the Villain I got say Kuro Neko was cool, I feel like a lot of people thought a Chat Noir fan was Kuro Neko but it was just a little girl who lost her kitty and she’s the just the cutest little thing. That talk she had with Ladybug was slightly wholesome. Overall this episode was okay but it kinda miss the main problem which I talk about some other time but it was fun it’s a solid 7/10 for me. But I got talk about the MVP

There’s what’s been bothering me and I hope I’m not the only one who feels the same: Miraculous Paris, Miraculous New York, Miraculous Shanghai, and Miraculous London are all Miraculous Ladybug specials that involve Ladybug and Chat Noir traveling to another city (for some random reason) and meeting more miraculous heroes and expanding the miraculous universe. But then there’s Miraculous Brazil and Miraculous Africa. Notice anything strange with these two titles compared to the others?

Here’s a hint: BRAZIL AND AFRICA ARE NOT CITIES!!

Brazil is a country and Africa is a whole freaking continent! Why couldn’t they just have the specials be named with a city from it’s respected country the special would take place in, or where they too lazy to actual do research.

Just take Miraculous Brazil and change it to Miraculous Rio, a well known city in the country of Brazil. (Also change the miraculous because it’s dumb, we don’t need another butterfly miraculous, just change it to a macaw or a jaguar because jaguar’s are Brazil’s national animal!)

And for Africa, choose an actual country in the continent of Africa then choose a city, like Lagos, Kampala, Accra, or Giza, and call the special that. There are many cities in that giant ass continent.

You’re telling me Ladybug is going be all over an entire continent and ONE woman name Lady Lion (horrible name btw) is going to represent an ENTIRE CONTINENT???
