Ash secretly learnt Spanish from Castle and Flores to surprise Mira. She ends up being quite fluent, but with an Argentinian twist/accent, with Mira finds both funny and cute.
While Ash was in a coma due to that explosion, Mira went to visit her daily, even if it was at night and she had to sneak into her room. And she would just talk to her, about her day or some gadget she was working on, in the hopes Ash could hear her. She would always leave with an "I miss you" and a kiss on her forehead.
Ever since they got together, Mira makes Ash a small, metal flower sculpture for their anniversary, since it lasts for longer than real flowers. Ash keeps them all: some at her office, some at home, some at Mira's home, one in her car, etc.
It took Ash some time to realise Mira's directness was not challenging her or opposing her, it was just the way the Spaniard was. It was freeing to be able to act the same, as she used to be before having to be a "reasonable" figure of authority. Their random arguments sometimes make people think they're fighting, when in truth it's just a normal, even friendly bickering. It's just that both are headstrong and passionate.
Mira is the more flirty and will often push Ash to take time off to enjoy with her (although let's take into account both are kinda workaholics), but in truth Ash is hornier than Mira and her thoughts could make a sailor blush.
Neither is particularly interested in getting married, being together is enough for them. Which often surprise people since many (post-Rainbow) assume they're married.
